Book Review: Reign of Brayshaw by Meagan Brandy

“We told you .” Cap steps forward. “She’s not just some girl, never was, and now we know she was never meant to be.” He confirms the answer to our dad’s initial question – Raven comes first.— Meagan Brandy, Reign of Brayshaw

This book fucked me and in the best way possible. I was not ready, and I say that with every book I have read in this series. I have not seen a writer this good, based on the style, since Tijan. I never thought I would find characters I love more than Logan, Sam, and Mason. Oh, but I did… and I may love them a little more. I won’t go into a crazy deep review because I want you to read the book and get fucked right along with me #SorryNotSorry.

This book solidifies for me why Raven has been and will always be that bitch. Sorry, but cursing is mandatory when reading books like this. She has really brought the best out in these boys and turned them into Men. Boys who from wanting to RULE a town to men who are now ready to LEAD a town, big difference. It was nice seeing her come into her own, and to see how much her confidence and self-assurance has grown since book one.

What these four have found in each other is something so pure and so real. It’s a connection that goes beyond friendship or family. I believe in soulmates and I believe you can have over one if that’s what the universe has in store for you, and those four as each other’s soulmate. Love and loyalty of that stature is rare and not everyone finds it, neither in fiction nor real life.

Meagan Brandy is an amazing author and storyteller (it is a difference) and she will have you hooked from the first page. If you have not read this book, read it. If you have, then read it again. Read the entire #BrayshawHighSeries, I promise you won’t regret it
